We saw purple shots (from Bayonetta guns) doing the letter « P » from the first letter of « Platinum Games ». It look like these new ennemies appears from nothing and are artificials : could it be the creation of someone ? Someone trying to do its OWN angels ? Notice that the humans soldiers can see them, while Angels and Demons not. In previous games, Angels and Demons had a portal to enter the world of Chaos (represented by the sign). We can see Enochian Alphabet from their back. It seems that a new type of foe appeared in the world. This time they’re gonna have to use their true power to protect the city. In the opening scene of Bayonetta 2 they used their planes for a Christmas parade in the sky. The « Platinum Stars » is also a reference to the company, but it also refers to a group of military airplanes. My theory is that the city is under attack, but it’s just the beginning since most of the map is green. The map of Tokyo is colored by green and red.
The name of the Company « Platinum » is also hidden the right on the screen It also refers to « Shibuya 109 » a big shopping mall tower in Tokyo. It’s a clear reference to one of the previous game made my Hideki Kamiya (creator of the Bayonetta serie) called « Wonderful 101 ». ]In the first second of the trailer, we can see the number « 101 » from the tower. The opening scene is not in New York just like the two previous games, but in Japan, more precisely in Shibuya
